12-Day Road Route

A sample itinerary shaped to keep the pilgrimage steady, breathable, and realistic.

Day 1

Arrival in Haridwar

Meet the team, settle into your stay, and begin with evening Ganga Aarti to establish the devotional tone of the journey.

Day 2

Haridwar to Barkot

Long scenic drive into the hills with planned breaks and an overnight halt to prepare for the first dham segment.

Day 3

Yamunotri darshan

Early transfer to Janki Chatti, trek or pony support as needed, temple darshan, and return to the base stay.

Day 4

Barkot to Uttarkashi

Road transfer through mountain valleys and rest for the Gangotri segment with a calmer, lower-exertion day.

Day 5

Gangotri darshan

Drive to Gangotri, attend the temple, spend time near the river, and return with time to recover in the evening.

Day 6

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

A longer transfer day used to reposition for Kedarnath, with emphasis on rest, hydration, and trek preparation.

Day 7

Gaurikund and Kedarnath ascent

Begin the trek or helicopter-assisted segment and stay overnight around Kedarnath where possible.

Day 8

Kedarnath darshan and descent

Morning temple darshan followed by descent and recovery halt in Guptkashi or nearby.

Day 9

Guptkashi to Joshimath

Transition day toward Badrinath, paced to reduce fatigue after Kedarnath.

Day 10

Badrinath darshan

Visit Tapt Kund and Badrinath temple, with optional stops at Mana village based on time and weather.

Day 11

Return toward Rishikesh

Long descent from the higher ranges with overnight rest and buffer for road timing.

Day 12

Departure

Closing breakfast, onward transfers, and post-trip support for travel connections.
